Après une vaste recherche, Allison Miller a débarqué dans la prochaine série dramatique Kings, une interprétation contemporaine sur la vie du roi David*, selon le Hollywood Reporter.
L’histoire est centrée sur David Shepherd (Christopher Egan), un jeune guerrier au grand coeur auquel se joint sous l’autorité charismatique du Roi Silas (Ian McShane vu dans Deadwood). Le pilote de deux heures sera réalisé par Francis Lawrence (Je suis une légende).
Miller jouera Michelle Benjamin, la fille de Silas, qui tombe amoureuse de David.
* Cette histoire est inspiré du récit biblique sur le Roi David lequel a eu deux épouses (Avigail, veuve de Nabal et Ahinoam) et et une concubine (Bethsabéee, le Hittite,). Il a succédé à Saul, son prédécesseur.
